Electronics
- Introduction to programming: Student will use block coding in introduction classes to program Arduino board. Gradually student will start building programs using Arduino Integrated Development IDE. The Arduino programming language is based on a very simple hardware programming language called processing, which is similar to the C language and understand importance of setup() and loop() syntax.
- Breadboard & LEDs: Breadboards are one of the most fundamental pieces when learning how to build circuits. In this course, student will learn a little bit about what breadboards are, why they are called breadboards, and how to use one. Connecting LED to Arduino experiment helps student to learn more about breadboard pins. Student begin with one LED and move on with developing light patterns experiments with bunch of LEDs.
- Introduction to sensors:
- Give life to junk: Arduino allows any recycled material to be turned into a valuable junk bot. Young designers may use key materials such as everyday objects, plastic bottles, old CDs and discarded cardboard, and combine them with simple electronic components to make them work. To render a functional junkbot, the students must apply key STEM concepts which they have gained from this course. It would develop child imagination, problem-solving abilities and construction abilities.
